Having met in 1994, during the early days of their respective architectural careers in London, Graham and Claire embarked on diverse paths in the profession, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in a range of architectural fields.
Since joining in partnership in early 2011, they have together created projects which have earned them a reputation as outstanding architects with a unique attention to detail whilst bringing a personal touch to make each project special, tailored to the client’s desires.
Our team has always been, and will continue to be, small, hand-picked and close-knit, well versed in the creativemass approach to feasibility, design, construction and management of residential and commercial projects. Our shared ambition is to realise our clients’ complex design briefs on time and on budget.
Claire spent fifteen years in senior roles at award-winning practices, gaining a breadth of experience, as well as the efficiencies and rigorous standards of commercial practice. Previous practices include; DSDHA, where she was Director in charge of many significant residential and education buildings, including the Stirling-Prize shortlisted Christ’s College, a private estate in Berkshire and a house in Kensington Palace Gardens, as well as proposals for larger residential developments, and also Michael Squire & Partners and John Lyall Architects, where she was Project Architect. Claire is passionate about design and attention to detail, as well as maximising the opportunities of a given site and providing wonderful spaces focused on individual briefs and people’s needs. She has spoken at various conferences on design quality, been a judge of several architectural awards, acts as a guest critic at various schools of architecture, as well as serving on Newham and Lewisham’s respective Design Panels. She is also currently external examiner at Westminster University MA in Interior Design Course.
Graham has specialised in bespoke residential architecture for the last 20 years in southwest and central London, including many successful and award winning projects in Barnes, Kensington, Chelsea, Belgravia and Notting Hill.
